Improve Business Productivity with these AppsWhen entrepreneurs first develop their businesses, productivity may not be one of the first things that come to mind. But when you really dive into it, there are countless online tools and apps available to entrepreneurs which can optimize productivity, and ultimately transform your business. These apps can help with time management, help tasks become more seamless and effortless, and increase business output. Today, I’m talking about four apps which could help improve your business’s productivity.

Slack

When it comes to team communication, Slack is king. Slack is a fast-growing company utilized by major businesses all around the world, such as Air BnB, Intuit, Cole Haan, and Target. But it’s not just global brands– even small businesses are jumping on board. Slack is used to organize conversations, and considers itself a “smart alternative to email.” Slack allows you to organize your team conversations in “channels,” where you can categorize things based on topic, project, or team. The app is extremely popular, and for good reason.

Todoist

Todoist is making waves as the top-ranked productivity app. More than 10 million people have turned to this app to manage their tasks, projects, and goals. The app is slick and clean, and very user-friendly. Todoist takes your reminders and notes, and sets alerts based on them. It also categorizes your tasks, for simple organization. Todoist also integrates with other apps such as Dropbox and Slack. The app is free, with a premium version available for purchase. There is also a business version of Todoist, which can be used for team task management.

Pocket

When you’re combing through ideas, content, and industry news, it can be tough to keep track of the plethora of information you find on the web. Instead of opening tabs, emailing yourself links, and saving bookmarks for later, you can turn to a new app called Pocket. With Pocket, you can save stories, videos, and articles from any publication or page on the internet. You can then revisit the content in an organized place. Pocket also works offline, by allowing you to download content from anywhere, which is great for entrepreneurs on the go.

Buffer

Social media management is more crucial than ever before. Businesses need to manage many different platforms, and a range of content, to be social media savvy. Buffer is a social media management app, which allows your to organize and manage all of your platforms in one place. It supports all of the major platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. You can craft and schedule all of your social media posts directly from Buffer, instead of going through each platform individually. You can also tailor each post individually for the specific social media platform, and view all of your upcoming content on a calendar.

Taking Your Productivity to the Next Level

Apps can really launch your business productivity to the next level. That being said, it can be intimidating to choose which apps to trust, and which to integrate into your business. These are just a few of the many apps, both older and newer, which are helping businesses reach their full potential.
