In the business world, a lot of the success depends on the person behind the company, the CEO. There are some CEOs that can plan and develop the business but lack the ability to inspire others, while others have the ability to lead the business through inspiring other to be their best.
Those who are in the business world should always be looking for motivation which can be found from some of the best in the world. Here are four CEOs that I am inspired by every single day.
Jack Dorsey, Co-Founder and CEO of Twitter and CEO of Square
Dorsey has been able to be at the very top of not one, but two very successful companies in this world. He’s someone who believes in a set routine every day, from getting to work early in the morning and being as productive as possible.
His other routines, viewed as extreme by other like only having one meal a day, ice baths, etc., are just an example of how set he is on his routines. Even though he knows other people feel that is routine is extreme, he knows it works for him. That’s why he inspires people to push boundaries and do what works for them.
Elon Musk, Co-Founder, CEO and Product Architect of Tesla, Inc. and SpaceX
Pretty much everyone knows of Musk by now, as he has really made a name for himself in the last few years thanks to Tesla and SpaceX. Similar to Dorsey, Elon is firm on a morning routine, although he admittedly does not always eat breakfast.
The one major tip that he gives to people who are trying to be productive and successful is to schedule the day and prioritize as much as possible. With a set schedule, tasks are much more likely to get done and deadlines are met.
Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway
There is no doubt that Warren Buffett has been at this for a long time. The CEO of the extremely successful holding company was somewhat of a late bloomer, but at 88, his age alone is an inspiration for many.
He continues to play a very active role in the company every single day. Most of his workdays are spent reading, processing information that he uses to better himself and his company. He is also big on having a balance of work and pleasure. For example, he unwinds each day by playing the ukulele.
Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon
Things are not going particularly well for Bezos at the moment on the personal side of things, so his daily routine might be slightly altered. At his peak, the Amazon CEO worked long hours, but he always found time to get eight hours of sleep on most days. He is a firm believer in getting the proper amount of rest, and that includes waking up naturally.
Another rule he loves to follow is to have all of his important meetings earlier in the day. If possible, he loves to have the big meetings before lunch. This allows him to have the rest of the day to clear up any issues or get ahead and work on other things on his to-do list.
